The Atlantic Tool Collectors Association was formed in 1994, with 21 charter members. Since then the membership has grown to more than eighty members from across Canada and the United States.
Our association was formed with a view to promoting public interest in the history and preservation of antique and collectible hand tools in the Atlantic Provinces.
Our semi-annual meetings offer an opportunity for our members to display their collections in public, do a little trading and bring each other up to date with what has been going on in their local area.
A.T.C.A. News, our quarterly newsletter, contains association news, articles on regional industries, local collections and auction information from other collectors and tool groups.
